Scott Tanner is Public Relations Director for Sondhelm Partners. Scott is a seasoned financial public relations professional with unparalleled message development, media placement , and brand – building expertise. He has assisted boutique and name-brand asset and wealth managers, and institutional clients create visibility with their key audiences for over 25 years.

Scott has placed timely stories for his clients in relevant publications, including Barron’s, Bloomberg, Citywire, Financial Planning, Investment News, The Wall Street Journal, and more.

Before working with Sondhelm Partners, Scott founded Millennium Media Consulting in 2002 with a vision to deliver innovative media relations initiatives . His strategic leadership, aimed at firms’ managing assets under management of $5 million to $50 billion, has been instrumental in his client’s success. He began his public relations and communications career with Morrison/Carlisle (now SunStar Strategic).

Scott is dedicated to community service with youth volunteer work at his church, Greater Alexandria Young Life , Casa Chirilagua, and as a board member of Legal Services of Northern Virginia.

Scott earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Radford University and a Public Relations graduate certificate from the University of Virginia . Currently, he is an EMBA candidate at Quantic School of Business and Technology.
